This is the first film analysis I made.
It's about the horror film 'Cabin in the Woods', where 5 friends going to a cabin in the woods and make holidays there, but some strange things happen there.

We’re 4 girls and we’re working together in one group.

With this I want to introduce everyone to you.

Hello I’m Sirin and this is my blog here.

I’m always behind the camera, because I

Write the scripts and shoot lists. So you can say that I’m the brain behind the films, we’re making. I’m also responsible for the editing after we filmed the different shoots. And I’m not only the editor; I’m also the director. So in the end I can say that I’m looking that everything is fitting together and that the films is good looking on the screen, but I can’t do that alone so I have my 3 girls beside me. We’re helping each other out when someone needs help.

That’s Tony and she’s like me, always behind the camera. Without her nothing is working, because she’s our camerawoman. She is responsible for all the camera work and helps me with the shoot list, because she knows the best, which shoot types we should use. Editing the whole film take a long time, so she’s also there a helping hand for me. In the end I can say that Tony is doing a great job as a camerawoman, it’s maybe because she loves to take pictures with her camera.

You should memorize her face, because Manjana is one of our two actresses. She is really important for the things in front of the camera, because she is doing the costumes and the make-up for everyone in front of the camera. So I need to work close together with her, because I need to explain her the different scenes. All in all I can say without her the film is not that good looking than with her, because a film without good costumes, good makeup and good actresses is really boring.

Last but not least: Elisa, our second actress. 

She’s together with Manjana in front of the camera. It’s really good for our group that we have 2 actresses, because then nobody needs to do more jobs then the other. She’s not only an actress, she’s also really important behind the camera. If Elisa isn’t there, the film would be really boring, because what is a film without good music? That’s why we need her, because she has always good songs and good ideas for the music in our film. So summarized I can say Elisa is a really important member, because of her we have good music and two actresses.

That’s the whole group and the things every member of my group are doing. So as you can see everyone of us have their own jobs and things to do and everyone know what the other ones are doing. But if someone needs help, there will be always someone who has time to help. We’re all flexible and know what the other ones are doing. I’m really lucky with the group and my girls. And I think we will have a great year here in England and in the media studies class.
